I'm perplexed by the high ratings this restaurant has received - it's possible that they're inflated. The name suggests authenticity, but the aroma is noticeably absent. Here are some issues I encountered: 1. The front desk struggled to take basic orders. 2. The ambiance was subpar, with a strong smell of cockroaches, making the environment unhygienic. 3. The food was overly oily and lacked flavor, with the mushrooms tasting like they'd been dipped in oil. 4. The biryani didn't have even a hint of aroma from any flavor. 5. The service was abysmal. Google not allowing me to give negative rating. This is only suitable for having cheap ($1) so called tea (sugar syrup)with colleagues for 10 mins not more than that.

Food was fantastic. Had the Chicken 555 and garlic naan. Chicken was spicy and in a cream sauce, lightly fried. Just perfect heat. Not any that would blow your head off. Naan was soft with a little char. Chicken came out quickly but got a bit cold waiting for the naan that didn’t arrive for several minutes later. Asked twice about it, response was “almost ready soon” both times. That was the extremely disappointing part of the visit.

Food was delicious! We ordered two different biryani's (mutton & chicken) and dosa. It was very good. Its on the very spicy side, which is my preference. They were also really helpful when it came go allergy info. They state which dishes they were able to accommodate and which could not be. They made sure with us numerous times, which shows their thoroughness. It was also my daughter's birthday and they brought her a cake and tasty dessert.10/10 will be back again.

The Chicken Biriyani was the best I have ever had. The seasoning was balanced, the rice was fragrant, and the chicken was tender in a way that showed real care. The house made samosas were crisp and light with a filling that tasted fresh rather than heavy. The butter chicken was velvety and perfect. The chicken tikka masala had a depth that made it one of the best things I have ever tasted. The Lamb Mandi carried some of the best flavors of the night, rich without being overwhelming and cooked with a steady hand. The fresh made roti and naan were off the charts, and the garlic naan was perfectly balanced with enough garlic to matter without taking over the bread. The complimentary Ras Malai was a thoughtful finish. It was our first time trying it, and it was light, delicate, and not overly sweet. It felt like the kind of gesture that comes from a kitchen and staff who take pride in what they do. Annampuram already stood out for the food, but the way the staff guided us through the meal pushed the experience into something rare. This is our go-to restaurant and we come here very often. Everything we’ve had so far has been really good. We actually start our day here with their chai almost every day, and it’s honestly the best. We’ve tried quite a few things from the menu like chicken biryani, paneer biryani, samosas, pakoras, and different dosas (plain, masala, and onion). Everything has been fresh and really tasty. The rasam soup is also amazing ; spicy, flavorful, and very comforting. The snacks are great, the food is consistently good, and the staff are always friendly, quick, and helpful. It’s a place we keep coming back to.
